| * | Mandatory field. Form cannot be finalized without a valid value. |
| # | Auto-generated/system field. Normally read-only. |
| ~ | Optional field unless a conditional rule makes it mandatory. |
| @ | Format/validation rule. Examples: PAN, GSTIN, IFSC, mobile, PIN code, email, URL. |
